We are so excited to welcome this beautiful guy into our program. Sal carries yellow and chocolate genetics, so we are hopeful for our first chocolate puppies in 2028.

Temperament & Personality
We are just getting to know Sal and hope to learn more about his personality as he matures. He is a super sweet pup that loves to romp and play with our crew. He is fitting in great so far.
Why he's in the Program
He is a beautiful, classic Labrador with a lovely coat and strong, balanced structure. We’re happy to have him as part of our breeding program, where he will bring some valuable diversity to our lines. For us, maintaining genetic diversity is an important part of supporting the long-term health of our Labradors, while also continuing to preserve the beautiful, balanced structure we love in the breed.
What Makes Sal Special
Sal is a big, lovable black Labrador puppy with the sweetest lumbering little walk. He’s wonderfully chunky, with plenty of puppy fat rolls and a sturdy, substantial build. There’s just something endearing about watching this big boy waddle his way around, completely content and very much enjoying being a puppy.
Gentle Giant Sal
Sal may be a big puppy, but he has such a gentle way about him. Here he is playing with one of Willow’s much smaller puppies, and he is surprisingly careful with her. He seems to understand that she is little, keeping his play soft and easy while still enjoying their time together. It’s a sweet glimpse of his naturally gentle temperament.
A Special Addition to our Program
This special black Labrador has joined our breeding program for the genetic diversity he brings to our lines. He carries both yellow and chocolate, which gives us the exciting possibility of producing our first chocolate puppies here at Apple Tree Labradors. More than just adding new colors, we’re excited about the opportunity to thoughtfully expand our lines while continuing to focus on healthy, well-structured Labradors.
