Beau has brought a ton of personality into our home. He has a charm to him that can’t help but bring a smile to your face. He has decided that he’s our daughter’s dog and when he’s not breeding, you’ll find him hanging out with her. He’s a favorite among her friends.

Temperament & Personality
Beau is the life of the party. He’s always got something in his mouth, usually his favorite ball, a plastic bottle–he loves to squish them– and occasionally a misplaced sock, a stick from the yard, and, of course, any leftovers from dinner.
He’s wonderful with all the other dogs. His temperament, as he grows into his legs occasionally he’s a little stronger than he knows, but in the end, the ladies love him and he lives up to his name.
Why He's in the Program
We were so excited to keep Beau in our program, he’s a few generations removed from Bear, our beloved stud that everyone couldn’t help but fall in love with.
He’s a descendant of Merida and has her spunk. We can’t wait to see his puppies and watch their vibrant and charming personalities.
A Little Chaos, A Lot of Love
Beau is the kind of dog who seems to wake up every morning with a personal mission to turn the world upside down-in the most charming way possible. He’s spunky to his core, bursting with energy and a knack for mishief that keeps everyone on their toes. If something goes missing, gets knocked over, or suddenly appears in a place it definitely shouldn’t be, there’s a good chance Beau had a paw in it. But underneath all the spunk is a dog who’s deeply lovable and endlessly affectionate. At the end of the day, he has a way of curling up beside you making you forget all of the mishief that he has gotten into throughout the day.
Beau: A Retriever Through & Through
Beau is every bit a retriever at heart, and he shows it in the most unmistakeable way- he always has something in his mouth. Whether it’s a toy, a sock, a stick, or something he’s “rescued” from an unknown location, Beau seems to believe that anything within reach is meant to be carried. He trots around proudly with his latest treasure like it’s the most important job in the world, tail wagging with pure satisfaction. It’s impossible not to smile at his dedication; for Beau, life is simply better when there’s something to fetch, carry, or proudly show off.
